The Weather-wave-dust and ocean circulation forecasting system for Saudi Arabia, Arabian and Red Seas – Fog and Flood Forecasting System has been developed for Saudi Aramco. It is in continuous development and operations since 2010. Form 2005-2010 it was developed and operated as OMMS in cooperation of the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Mines (KFUPM). WASSF is an advanced forecasting system covering all the needs for environmental applications and engineering operations for Saudi Aramco. It is known as WASSF-I, II, III for the operational periods of 2010-2015, 2015-2020 and 2020-2025). A Flash Flood and Early Warning section is included.
